Abstract: A system and method provide for mapping a virtual core of a computing system to an external computing resource and intercepting an instruction directed from an application resident on the computing system to the virtual core. The intercepted instruction may be sent to the external computing resource for processing.

Abstract: Devices, apparatus, systems and methods for using a magnet retractable support platform for kickstands for use with two wheeled vehicles that include motorcycles, mopeds and bicycles. While a two wheeled vehicle is parked, a kickstand support, such as a puck, can be magnetically attached to a lowered kickstand on a two wheeled vehicle by a magnet in the kickstand support. A tether line can have an end attached to the kickstand support and an opposite end tethered to a mounted retriever assembly that can be clamped to handlebars of the two-wheeled vehicle. A spring in the retriever assembly can activated by a switch to retract the tether line and allow for the kickstand support to be attached again to the mounted retriever assembly when the kickstand support is not being used. A clip and/or a second magnet on the retriever assembly can also releasably attach the kickstand support to the retriever assembly when the kickstand support is not being used.

Abstract: A system and method may provide for defining a usage policy for an available resource of a personal computing system, and transmitting the usage policy to a market broker. The market broker may identify a match between the usage policy and a request from another computing system, and generate a notification of the match. In addition, funds may be transferred from an account associated with the other computing system to an account associated with the personal computing system based on a remote usage of the available resource by the other computing system.

In embodiments, a method may include receiving, by a service monitor operating on a computing device, performance information associated with services provided by an application service with instances operating on a plurality of virtual machines deployed on a plurality of servers of a computing cloud. The service monitor, in response, may identify one or more requests of the computing cloud to attempt to improve performance of the services provided by the application service. Dashboards can include one or more graphs including a representation of a total number of patients and a set of the patients that have a common status relative to a metric. One or more of the graphs can include an area that is representative of the set of patients. The area can be selected to display information associated with the set of patients. The information can comprise contact information, demographic information, or health care cost information, for example.

Abstract: A mobile communication device is equipped with hardware and/or software components to enable the device to output a data in a form of a radio frequency signal, emulating outputting of the data by either an active or a passive RFID transponder. The data may be a security key or an identifier. Emulation of an active RFID transponder includes facilitating selection of the data and instruction to output by a user. Emulation of a passive RFID transponder includes detecting for proximal presence of a RFID reader. Either case, provision of the data to the mobile communication device may include provision of associated signal attribute(s).
