  • Publication number: 20250124554
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, articles of manufacture, and methods are disclosed to implement seamless switching of dynamic range and/or refresh rate on display devices. An example apparatus disclosed herein causes a display to activate panel self refresh after a command to switch a graphics output from a first dynamic range to a second dynamic range, the graphics output provided to the display. The example apparatus also switches the graphics output from the first dynamic range to the second dynamic range after the panel self refresh is activated. The example apparatus further causes the display to deactivate the panel self refresh after the graphics output is switched to the second dynamic range.

  • Patent number: 12045455
Abstract: A method including receiving a command to display a modal dialog. The modal dialog is displayed using both first and second scrolling frames. The first scrolling frame permits scrolling when a modal dialog height exceeds a first scrolling frame constraint. The second scrolling frame permits scrolling of a content section when a content section height exceeds a second scrolling frame constraint. The first scrolling frame constraint has a first and second priorities. The second scrolling frame constraint has a third priority. An orientation of the display screen is determined as being either in a portrait orientation or a landscape orientation. Responsive to determining the physical orientation, an applicable priority that is applicable to the first scrolling frame constraint is assigned. The applicable priority is the first priority in the portrait orientation, and is the second priority in the landscape orientation. After assigning the applicable priority, the modal dialog is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20200104404
Abstract: Techniques for migrating clients from one technology stack to another are provided. In one technique, while a legacy service is hosted that is actively serving requests from multiple clients, a new service is initiated and one or more clients send requests to the new service. The legacy service reads data from and writes data to a legacy database in response to the requests. The new service forwards, to the legacy service, a first set of client requests that were directed to the new service. A new database is synchronized with the legacy database. After synchronization, the legacy service forwards, to the new service, a second set of client requests, which the new service processes.
