  • Publication number: 20200027115
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide methods and systems for making reward point account balances liquid for the customer. In traditional systems, reward points issued to customers in their reward point accounts have limited redemption options. Embodiments discussed herein allow a user to provision their reward point account into a digital wallet. The user can then use the reward points to purchase goods and services using their reward point account as a payment source via the digital wallet. The result is that the reward point account balance becomes a liquid asset for the customer to use to purchase any goods and/or services at any merchant that accepts payments from a digital wallet. Further, due to real-time point conversion at the time of the transaction, the available point balance is always up-to-date for use through any access method available to the user.

  • Publication number: 20190385164
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for facilitating push provisioning of a user payment source into a user's digital wallet without the user having a physical card. The techniques allow an issuer to provide a button in an issuer's mobile application for the user to simply push the button to request that the payment source be imported into the user's digital pay wallet. In this way, the payment source information is “pushed” into the pay wallet. Using push provisioning, the user need not enter any physical card information. The described techniques generate a chain of trust that can be used to ensure that a user, through an issuer and using an encryption gateway, authorizes a token service provider to provision the payment source into the user's digital wallet.

  • Publication number: 20080191006
Abstract: An automatic teller machine (ATM) with award feature is disclosed. The ATN includes a user interface, a communications interface connected to an ATM network, and a processor. The communications interface is adapted to receive account information from an ATM card, receive input from the user, and present information to the user. The ATM may also present the user, through the user interface, with a game of chance, a reward program, coupons, a lottery, etc.
