  • Patent number: 11089071
Abstract: A data storage device may comprise a network interface configured to couple to a computer network; a memory configured to store at least one of a first, second and third media file, at least two of the first to third media files being configured differently from one another; and a processor coupled to the memory and to the network interface. The processor may be configured to generate a media stream by at least sequentially applying at least one filter to one or more of the first to third media files; sequentially reformatting one or more of the first to third media files such that each or some substantially conforms to a common format; ordering the filtered and/or reformatted media files according to a selectable metric; aggregating the media files together to generate the media stream; and making the media stream accessible to the computer network over the network interface.

  • Patent number: 10735514
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for remote configuration of applications on a network-attached storage device (NAS). In certain embodiments, a NAS includes a non-volatile memory module, a network interface, and control circuitry configured to store a mapping of an application identifier and a port for each of the plurality of applications stored in the non-volatile memory. The control circuitry receives, from a client over the network interface, a request to configure a first application of the plurality of applications, the request comprising a first port corresponding to the first application. The control circuitry determines a first embedded web server of the first application based on the mapping and the first port received in the request and transmits the request to the first embedded web server on the first application.

  • Patent number: 10574745
Abstract: A computer-implemented method may comprise requesting, by a first mobile computing device, a logical data object stored at an address location on a wide area network (WAN); receiving, by the first mobile computing device, the requested logical data object from the address location on the WAN and storing the received logical data object in the first mobile computing device. A logical data object request may then be received from a second mobile computing device. Responsive to the logical data object request, a copy of the stored logical data object of the logical data object stored at the address location on the WAN may be sent from the first mobile computing device to the second mobile computing device using a peer-to-peer communication protocol. The sent copy of the stored logical data object may be devoid of data or data files referred to by the stored logical data object.

  • Patent number: 10567518
Abstract: A computing device configured to facilitate on-boarding of an electronic device may comprise a processor and memory. The memory may store instructions that cause the processor to receive, over a public network, a first communication from the electronic device on a private network, comprising an address of the electronic device on the private network. A first identifier associated with the address of the electronic device on the public network and the received address of the electronic device on the private network may be stored in a persistent store. The computing device may then receive a first request from a browser and, based upon a second identifier associated therewith, retrieve the stored address of the electronic device on the private network. The retrieved address of the electronic device on the private network may then be sent, over the public network, in response to the received first request from the browser.
