  • Patent number: 4341364
Abstract: A device for detecting irregular operative situations, particularly for tape decks, serves to detect the rotational state of one of the two discs only. In fact, the rotational state of only one of the two discs carrying the hub for the tape reels implies tape breaking and for this reason the cassette must be ejected or the transport motor must be deenergized. Two motion detectors 11A and 12A, 11B and 12B for the two discs 13A and 13B have as output a logic level 1 if the corresponding disc is stopped while before it rotated or a logic level 0 if the corresponding disc is stopped while before it was stopped; an exclusive OR gate 15 has an inputs the corresponding outputs of two motion detectors, respectively, and the output of exclusive OR gate 15, being 1 when only one of two discs rotates while the other one is stopped, detects an irregular operative situation.

  • Patent number: 4137502
Abstract: A radio-receiver or tuner provided with a solid state memory for a multiplicity of reception frequencies, comprising: a manual member for controlling a tuner having two different positions, namely manual and memory. The manual member in its "manual" condition is arranged for controlling a variable voltage generator arranged to supply a control voltage to tune variable reactances. A digital memory is provided for memorizing a plurality of signals corresponding to a plurality of reception frequencies and reception bands. The manual control member is arranged to cause the operation of a clock generator associated with a binary counter, the outputs of the counter being arranged to drive in a known way a digital-to-analog resistance network. A voltage comparator is arranged to signal the equality between the manually adjusted tuning control voltage and the voltage at the output from the resistance network.

  • Patent number: 4119915
Abstract: An electronic tuning system for radio receivers, with digital memorization of the signal frequencies. A manual control generates a first control voltage. A clock pulse generator applies pulses to a counter, the output of which is connected to a digital-to-analog converter to supply a second control voltage, indicative of the number of clock pulses counted by the counter, to electronic tuning circuitry of an electronically tuned radio receiver. A voltage comparator receives the digital-to-analog converter output and the output from the manual control. The output of the voltage comparator is applied to a gate circuit which controls application of the clock pulse signals to the counter so that these signals are discontinued when the output signal from the digital-to-analog converter is substantially equal to the output from the manual control.

  • Patent number: 4081751
Abstract: A plug-in car radio set, and support therefor comprising a support provided with means for effecting the outer connections, namely antenna, power supply, loudspeaker(s), and the inner connections associated to the radio part proper, including a casing, an indicator for the listening frequency, and the usual controls for volume and tuning, and the electronic circuitry at least at radiofrequency and intermediate frequency.
