Abstract: The wristwatch (2) includes a clasp (12), formed of a lever (14) connected to a connecting pin (16) mounted on a portion integral with the case (4) so as to rotate about a first axis of rotation (24). A buckle (18) is mounted on the connecting pin so as to be rotatable about a second axis of rotation at a distance from the first axis. A hook (20), in which the buckle is placed, is arranged at the end of the bracelet (8) for closing the clasp by actuating the lever. In a preferred embodiment, the bracelet is arranged to exert a traction force on the hook when the lever is in the closed position thereof. In a preferred variant, the first and second axes of rotation are arranged so that the clasp forms a mechanical toggle type mechanism.
