  • Publication number: 20240107612
Abstract: A method for handling Downlink (DL) Uplink (UL) Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) states is disclosed herein. More specifically, methods performed by a wireless device and a base station for handling DL UL TCI states are provided. The methods disclosed herein can be beneficial to enable dynamic power control in the event of Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE), wherein one beam pair link is best for DL signals/channels while another beam pair link is best for UL signals/channels.

  • Publication number: 20240072982
Abstract: A method, system and apparatus for separate implicit update of activated transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) are disclosed. According to one aspect, a method in a wireless device (WD) includes sending a measurement report for at least one reference signal to a network node, the at least one reference signal being related to at least one TCI state, the at least one TCI state being at least one of a DL TCI state and an UL TCI state. The method also includes activating at least one TCI state that is related to the at least one reference signal.

  • Patent number: 11363974
Abstract: A method for monitoring a blood glucose level of an individual comprises the steps of receiving (S1) a first glucose value, which has been measured in a body fluid of the individual other than the individual's blood, the first glucose value representing the blood glucose level of the individual with a first delay; receiving (S6) speech of the individual; analyzing (S7) the individual's speech; and determining (S8) a supplementary glucose value, which represents the blood glucose level of the individual with a shorter delay than the first delay; wherein the determination of the supplementary glucose value is based on the analyzing of the individual's speech.

  • Patent number: 11076015
Abstract: A proxy device includes a processor circuit, a memory coupled to the processor circuit, and a network interface coupled to the processor circuit. The processor circuit is configured to function as a proxy for network communications to and from an internet of things, IoT, device that is located within a same home network as the proxy device. The processor circuit is configured to determine that the IoT device is in sleep mode in which the IoT device is unable to send or receive network communications, and, in response to determining that the IoT device is in sleep mode, to store network communications received from a remote server on behalf of the IoT device until determining that the IoT device has entered active mode in which the IoT device is able to send and receive network communications.

  • Publication number: 20200281536
Abstract: A method for personalized monitoring of a user's health, e.g. on a personal electronic device, optionally in combination with a computing device. The method obtains (32) sensor data from one or more sensors associated with the user and generates (33), based on the sensor data, measurement values of a primary parameter. The method further identifies (31), among a default set of secondary parameters, one or more selected secondary parameters which, for the user, are found to correlate with the primary parameter. The method may further generate (34), based on the sensor data, measurement values of the selected secondary parameter(s) so as to selectively provide measurement values that are relevant for the health of the user as monitored by the primary parameter. Alternatively or additionally, the method may present the selected secondary parameter(s) to the user to inform the user about relevant secondary parameter(s).

  • Publication number: 20120266191
Abstract: A method and system that makes use of social networking data and/or sensor data gathered from personal mobile radio terminal-based sensors (36-48) and/or advertisement display (14) based sensors to select and to serve relevant messages to render to a group of individuals. The messages are chosen to maximize the impact the messages will have on the target audience based on the likes/dislikes of the crowd, any mood the individuals may be experiencing, or any other relevant data.

  • Patent number: 6055424
Abstract: In a communications system that includes a service node connected to an intelligent terminal by means of a limited bandwidth communications means, techniques in a service node and an intelligent terminal provide one or more services to a user of the intelligent terminal. A protocol between the intelligent terminal and the service node allow each application to be variously distributed between these two units. In one aspect of the invention, the protocol may itself by carried on a lower layer protocol that is a limited bandwidth communication channel. The protocol may include the communication of primitives and/or image descriptions between the service node and the intelligent terminal.
