    Abstract: Compositions of matter are disclosed in which acrylic resins for temporary impregnation of textile fabrics are combined with a laundry sour in aqueous or granular concentrates. These compositions are then introduced to the wash wheel in the last stage of a laundering operation immediately prior to drying the textile fabric. The acrylic resins impart soil release and stain removal properties to the fabrics. Fabric finishing agents may also be included in the compositions.
