Abstract: An absorbent article including an absorbent core arranged between a topsheet and a backsheet, the absorbent article having a longitudinal axis and a transversal axis extending in a perpendicular direction in relation to the longitudinal axis, the absorbent article having a front portion, a back portion and a crotch portion there between, and at least one wetness indicator, wherein at least one first wetness indicator is arranged in the front portion and/or the back portion. Furthermore, the absorbent article includes at least one permanent visual element arranged in the crotch portion, and the permanent visual element mimics the visual appearance of the wetness indicator.
