  • Publication number: 20240010438
Abstract: A bin sweep auger unplugging system for unplugging a central unloading sump in a storage bin. The bin sweep auger unplugging system generally includes an auger having a driven shaft with auger flighting, a drive unit having a drive shaft, and a clutch connected between the drive shaft and the driven shaft. The clutch selectively transfers the rotation of the drive shaft to the driven shaft of the auger. The drive shaft includes a clump breakup component that breaks up the clump of granular material above the unloading sump when the drive shaft is rotated. The clutch is disengaged when breaking up a clump of granular material to prevent the rotation of the auger.

  • Publication number: 20190195559
Abstract: A grain bin dryer pressure control system for reducing the risk of excess pressure inside a grain bin while grain is being dried. The grain bin dryer pressure control system generally includes a static pressure sensor mounted inside a grain bin and a controller. The controller comprises an input coupled to receive a signal from the pressure sensor indicative of a static pressure inside the grain bin and a first output operable to shut off power to the drying fan when the static pressure inside the grain bin exceeds a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 9694971
Abstract: An offset laminate seam system for storage bins for increasing the capacity of bolts in a seam of a storage bin. The offset laminate seam system for storage bins generally includes three or more panels connected together with two or more vertical rows of end fasteners to form a vertical seam. The interconnection of three or more panels continues to form a ring structure. A plurality of the ring structures are stacked upon one another and attached together with fasteners to form the wall of the storage bin and a roof is attached to the uppermost ring structure.

  • Patent number: 8408386
Abstract: A catwalk and conveyor support system adapted to be disassembled and including one or more raised sections each having a catwalk with a walkway and guard rails, and conveyor supports. Each of the conveyor supports have a vertical and a horizontal section, wherein the vertical section is adjustably connected to the catwalk and the horizontal section vertically adjusts with respect to the catwalk via the vertical section. The conveyor supports are arranged in a linear manner and are independently adjustable relative each other and relative the catwalk. Multiple raised sections may be used and are generally connected in a serial manner between storage receptacles. One or more conveyors for transporting the granular material between storage receptacles are supported upon the horizontal sections of the conveyor supports, wherein an angular disposition of the conveyors relative the catwalk is adjusted via vertical adjustment of one or more of the conveyor supports.
