  • Patent number: 12478115
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel bathrobe towel device. The device is a modified hooded bathrobe made from bamboo cotton designed to be a more sustainable alternative to bath towels. The bathrobe towel device comprises a body component with two sleeve components, a hood component, and a belt component. Typically, the interior is constructed of a comfortable terry cloth material and the waffle-like material on the exterior is constructed using bamboo cotton. Accordingly, when the user needs to dry off, they will put the bathrobe device on, with the hood component up, to allow the absorptive bamboo cotton/terry cloth to dry the user off. In addition to drying the user off, the bathrobe device provides great coverage while leaving the bathroom.

  • Publication number: 20240211993
Abstract: According to at least one embodiment, one or more potential advertisement slots may be identified based on contextual characteristics relating to content. Such contextual characteristics may include tonality, sentiment and/or data that places potentially worrisome content in context. By identifying potential advertisement slots based on such characteristics, a seller develops a better understanding of content running on its own media platform(s), builds a greater level of trust with its advertiser partners, and generates better yield with respect to its advertisement inventory.

  • Patent number: 10851415
Abstract: Sepsis remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in neonates worldwide. There is also clinically a low threshold for suspicion of infection in neonates, in particular as presentation varies greatly from very subtle to catastrophic collapse. The lack of reliably sensitive tests and the potential life-threatening consequences of delayed treatment of infection results in the widespread use of empirical antibiotics exposing many infants without infection to broad-spectrum antibiotics. The present invention provides a series of patient-invariant biomarkers for screening neonates and other subjects for infection that predicts bacterial infection with high accuracy; and is further shown to have predictive value in identifying infection in suspected cases with blood-culture negative tests.

  • Publication number: 20180214430
Abstract: The present invention concerns compounds for use in the prevention of viral replication and/or the prevention or treatment of a viral infection, wherein the compounds are selective inhibitors of inducible nitric oxide synthase, and methods of preventing viral replication and/or preventing or treating viral infections in a subject comprising administering a prophylactically or therapeutically effective amount of the compounds.

  • Publication number: 20090220924
Abstract: A device for visually associating categorized product features, comprising: a base (10) having a generally flat surface, and keying arrangements (1000), a readable pattern (102) of categorized feature indicia (1021) in a zone (100) associated with the keying arrangements, a set of transparent sheets (20a, 20b, . . . ) respectively associated to a plurality of products, each sheet having a keying arrangements (2000) complementary to those of the base, so that it can be placed over the readable pattern only in a given orientation, and each transparent sheet including a specific arrangement of semi-transparent zones (201a, 202a, . . . ; 201b, 202b, . . . ) adapted to register with product feature indicia (1021), whereby at least two transparent sheets corresponding to different products can be superimposed and their feature indicia visually highlighted by being seen through their respective semi-transparent zones.
