Said conjugates and pharmaceutical composition containing said conjugates are useful for prevention and/or treatment of diseases associated with carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae. Furthermore, the synthetic saccharides of general formula (I): V*—[Ux+2—Ux+1—Ux]n—V—O-L-NH2 are useful as marker in immunological assays for detection of antibodies against carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria.
