  • Publication number: 20250166295
Abstract: It is provided a method for performing 3D reconstruction. The method includes: obtaining sensor data; determining a pose estimate; estimating a pose error; comparing the pose error against an error threshold; performing a device 3D reconstruction when the pose error is determined to be smaller than the error threshold, resulting in updates to a device 3D model; sending a 3D reconstruction request to the server to perform a central 3D reconstruction, when the pose error is determined to be greater than the error threshold, wherein the 3D reconstruction request includes data based on the sensor data; receiving a result of a central 3D reconstruction from the server; and performing a 3D model fusion of a device 3D model in the mobile device and the result of the central 3D reconstruction, wherein the device 3D model, at least partly, is a result of previous device 3D reconstruction.

  • Publication number: 20250147821
Abstract: A computer system comprises at least one processor; a communications module coupled to the at least one processor; and a memory coupled to the at least one processor and storing processor-executable instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, configure the at least one processor to provide a bidirectional application programming interface that interfaces between at least one provider system and at least one subscriber system, the bidirectional application programming interface configured to allow the at least one provider system to make requests of the at least one subscriber system and to allow the at least one subscriber system to make requests of the at least one provider system; receive, from a subscriber system, an application programming interface request that includes a request to confirm data processing particulars; identify, based on the data processing particulars, a provider system associated with the data processing particulars; send, to the provider system, the request to con

  • Publication number: 20150151990
Abstract: A method for transporting flocculated tailings through a pipeline is provided comprising: adding an effective amount of a flocculant or a coagulant or a combination thereof to the mining tailings to form treated mining tailings comprising tailings flocs and release water; and injecting the treated mining tailings into the pipeline at a shear rate sufficient to form a self-lubricated core-annular flow of the treated mining tailings; whereby the release water forms a protective layer around the pipeline walls thereby reducing shearing of the tailings flocs.

  • Publication number: 20130075340
Abstract: A process for flocculating and dewatering oil sands fine tailings is provided, comprising: adding the oil sands fine tailings as an aqueous slurry to a stirred tank reactor; adding an effective amount of a polymeric flocculant to the stirred tank reactor containing the oil sands fine tailings and operating the reactor at an impeller tip speed for a period of time that is sufficient to form a gel-like structure; subjecting the gel-like structure to shear conditions in the stirred tank reactor for a period of time sufficient to break down the gel-like structure to form flocs and release water; and removing the flocculated oil sands fine tailings from the stirred tank reactor when the maximum yield stress of the flocculated oil sands fine tailings begins to decline but before the capillary suction time of the flocculated oil sands fine tailings begins to substantially increase from its lowest point.
