Abstract: A method of demonstrating organizational transparency is described. The method includes: defining a plurality of different groups of readers to whom organizations may elect to make a report available, wherein each group of readers has an associated transparency value; receiving a report which has an associated group of readers; calculating a transparency level of an organization by determining the transparency value of the associated group of readers to whom the report has been made available; and publishing the calculated transparency level of the organization.
