    Abstract: A barbecue rotisserie skewer having at least two closely spaced tines rigidly supported at one end by handle structure and the other end by a support receptacle which not only supports the skewer for rotation but rigidly holds the free ends of the tines. The support receptacle easily slides off the tines for receipt and removal of the food being cooked.
