    Abstract: The invention relates method of treating a patient in need thereof with a long acting agonist to the FGF21 signaling pathway. In a particular embodiment, the invention relates to the use of molecules that stimulate the FGF21 signaling pathway, such as long acting FGF21 polypeptides or agonist antibodies, to treat disorders or diseases associated with excess bile acid.
