Electronic information regarding a pick-up location and electronic information regarding a drop-off location for transport of the vehicle are accessed, and based on the electronic information regarding a pick-up location and information regarding a drop-off location for transport of the vehicle quotation of cost for transfer of the vehicle is automatically generated. A quotation for cost for transport of the vehicle is transmitted electronically to the user, over a computer network. A request to transport the vehicle is received, and based on a request to transport the vehicle, an electronic request to a transporter to transport the vehicle is automatically initiated. Also described is an internet-based system, an automated system in vehicles sales, as well as other methods and systems.

    Abstract: An embodiment of the invention is directed to a method for computer network-based sale of vehicles. An access group data structure is created. The access group data structure includes structure that defines association of web sites, users and vehicles associated with an access group. Whether vehicles are visible on respective web sites is controlled based on the access group, and access by the user is allowed to respective items in the access group based on whether a user is associated with the access group. Another embodiment includes providing an access group object, wherein the access group object includes properties that define association of web sites, users and vehicles associated with an access group. Another embodiment is directed to a computerized system for vehicle sale including a web server.

The console includes an input for causing the second section of the console to display a different item in the auction and display a set of recent bids placed for the item currently being auctioned. According to an embodiment, the second section of the console has display of a plurality of photos of the item.     Abstract: Methods of providing an auction for items over a computer network. User interfaces are provided for a buyer so they may participate in the auction over the computer network. Information regarding the items that are in the auction is provided on the user interfaces, and an input is provided on the user interfaces for the buyer to provide a question for the seller. The question is received from a particular buyer from among the buyers. A user interface is provided for the seller, and the question is displayed to the seller on the seller's user interface. An answer is received to the question from the seller through the seller's user interface, and the answer is displayed on the user interfaces of a set of buyers who are participating in the auction for the items.
