Abstract: Brace devoid of joints or welds for reinforcing a tube, such as the roller tube of an awning, the brace being formed from a pair of elongate metal strips mounted to each other along their respective longitudinal central portions, the edges of each strip forming integral feet at angles with respect to the strip, and the strips extending substantially radially from the mounted central portions to engage the interior of the tube at the feet.
