Abstract: A communications server apparatus comprises a processor and a memory. The communications server apparatus is configured, under control of the processor, to execute instructions stored in the memory to receive, over a communications channel, link information relating to a caller input, the caller input being activation of a link in a page by a caller, the link being associated with an offer, and activation of the link being a request for a voice communication session between the caller and a call recipient about the offer. The communications server apparatus identifies the call recipient using the link information and initiates the voice communication session between a caller device associated with the caller and a recipient device associated with the call recipient. Supplementary information relating to the activation of the link is transmitted to the recipient device.

Abstract: A communications server apparatus (102) comprises a processor (116) and a memory (118), and is configured, under control of the processor, to execute instructions (120) stored in the memory to receive, over a communications link (108, 110, 112), URL information relating to a caller input at a calling device (104), the caller input being selection or activation of a URL as a request for a communication session with a recipient device (106a, 106b). The recipient device is identified using the URL information and a communication session is initiated between the calling device and the recipient device. The calling device implements complementary functionality to interface with the communications server apparatus.

Abstract: A method for operating a first computational device to facilitate the secure transfer of a message between the first computation device and a second computational device is described. The method comprises operating the first computational device according to the following steps: forming an encrypted message from the message on the basis of a key derived from one or more codes associated with the second computational device; transmitting the encrypted message to the second computational device; purging the message and the encrypted message from the first computational device; receiving the encrypted message and said one or more codes from the second computational device; upon decrypting the message on the basis of the one or more codes transmitting the decrypted message to the second computational device.
