Abstract: In one example, an automated process comprises linking, by a device configuration manager (DCM), an account of a guest to a unique identifier of the guest received from a property management system (PMS). The DCM stores configuration data of a playback device in association with the account in response to the playback device being configured while assigned to the guest. The configuration data identifies a content application installed on the playback device. An authorization prompt can authorize storage of a login credential for the content application. The login credential can be stored in response to receiving the authorization. The content application is deleted from the playback device in response to a departure of the guest.
