    Abstract: A pipe coupling for a stainless steel well casing includes a square threaded male member which is received within a square threaded female member so that the coupling is initially loose. A TEFLON seal is provided to retain the fluid being pumped within the pipe. Each member has a shoulder which is abutted by the end of the other member in order to lock the members in rigid relationship once the coupling is completely tightened.
