  • Patent number: 4531252
Abstract: The invention consists of arranging a number of wire bundles on a supporting disc in openings of the disc, provided in circular rows coaxial with the disc and at different distances from the periphery of the disc.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 20, 1983
Date of Patent: July 30, 1985
    Inventor: Claude Arnal
  • Patent number: 4375114
Abstract: This invention relates to a brush consisting of a number of disc shaped elements molded into a unit-each disc supporting wire bundles extending from one side to the other through holes substantially larger than the cross-section of the corresponding wire bundle, each disc being impregnated with an elastomer to permit applying power under pressure of the elastomer.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 23, 1980
Date of Patent: March 1, 1983
    Inventor: Claude Arnal
  • Patent number: 4340722
Abstract: A method of preparing homo and co-polymers of vinyl chloride in the form of a powder adapted to give plastisols, in which a latex of homo or co-polymers of vinyl chloride, containing from 30 to 60% by weight of dry material and comprising two populations of particles with specific granulometric properties, is concentrated by eliminating a fraction of the aqueous phase in the liquid state, then the residual water is dried off. The dry material content of the concentrated latex is from 50 to 80% by weight, and the absolute difference between the dry material content of the latex before and after concentration is over 10% by weight.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 23, 1980
Date of Patent: July 20, 1982
    Assignee: Chloe Chimie
Inventors: Claude Arnal, Jean-Barnard Pompon, Robert Roullet
  • Patent number: 4331788
Abstract: A process for the preparation of homo- and co-polymers of vinyl chloride by polymerization in seeded microsuspension, which comprises effecting polymerization in the presence of one or more seeding products in the form of dispersions of particles of polymers, the particles of at least one of the seeding products containing the initiator required for polymerization and said initiator being activated by an organosoluble metal complex and nitric acid.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 15, 1980
Date of Patent: May 25, 1982
    Assignee: Chloe Chimie
Inventors: Claude Arnal, Nicolas Fischer, Jean-Bernard Pompon
  • Patent number: 4137594
Abstract: The invention relates substantially to brush consisting of a number of wire bundles forming knots and extending radially from the periphery of a heat conducting disc supporting the wire bundles, all being covered by a first layer of elastomer which has attached to it a second layer of elastomer of substantially less diameter, extending over a portion of said knots; the remainder of the knobs being left uncovered by the second layer thereby forming a flexible base for the movement of the knots as well as permitting heat conduction to the air.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 28, 1977
Date of Patent: February 6, 1979
    Inventors: Claude Arnal, Francois Fidry
