  • Patent number: 11845565
Abstract: Aircraft refuelling device including a fuel circulation pipe of which the downstream end is equipped with a wing coupling for connecting it to an inlet orifice of a fuel tank of the aircraft. The wing coupling includes a body which defines a fuel circulation duct at the end of the pipe, a sensor for measuring the value of a parameter indicative of a flow of fuel passing through the wing coupling, and at least one battery electrically powering the sensor. The sensor and the electrical power supply battery are housed in two half-shells mounted together around the body of the wing coupling.

  • Patent number: 11174040
Abstract: A device for refueling an aircraft, including a fuel flow duct, the downstream end of which is equipped with a wing coupler for connecting it to an inlet orifice of a fuel tank of the aircraft. The wing coupler includes a body, and a front valve that is movable with respect to the body. The wing coupler includes at least one detection member for detecting the position of the front valve, and an electrical or electronic transmission system for transmitting to a processing unit a signal representing the position of the front valve as detected by the at least one detection member.

  • Publication number: 20200399000
Abstract: Aircraft refueling device including a deformable pipe for the circulation of fuel, the downstream end of which is provided with a wing fastener for the connection thereof onto an intake port of the aircraft fuel tank. The device includes a first sensor for measuring the pressure values, in the vicinity of the wing fastener, of a fuel flow in the deformable pipe, and means for determining the flow rate in the deformable pipe. The device further includes a second sensor for measuring the pressure values of the flow upstream of the deformable pipe, a unit for calculating the pressure drop of the flow in the deformable pipe, based on the pressure values measure by the first and second sensors. The device also includes a unit for comparing the calculated pressure drop value with a reference value, established during the commissioning phase, for example, for the same flow rate.

  • Patent number: 8763956
Abstract: The invention relates to equipment for refueling an aircraft, including a pipe (40) provided with means (42) for connecting onto an intake port (301) of the fuel tank of the aircraft (400) and, at or in the vicinity of the connection means (42), means (501) for determining the value of at least one parameter representative of a flow (E) of fuel passing through the connection means. Said equipment further includes at least one receiver onboard the refueling equipment (1), means (503, 504) for transmitting, to the receiver, a signal (Si(P)) representative of a parameter value predetermined by determination means (501) and an electronic unit capable of receiving, from the receiver, a signal representative of the parameter and of driving at least one flow control and monitoring device in accordance with the signal received from the receiver.
