  • Patent number: 11618288
Abstract: A process for manufacturing a rubber patch comprising a radiofrequency transponder, the patch having a first layer and a second layer, the method comprising moulding and vulcanizing a first layer, the exterior surface of which comprises a cavity able to receive a radiofrequency transponder, placing a transponder in the cavity, and then placing and vulcanizing a second layer in order to embed the transponder between the two layers.

  • Patent number: 10960625
Abstract: A drum for producing a tire casing blank comprises a support and sectors forming a circumferential face of the drum. Each sector has a circumferential outer face having a contour of general trapezoidal form and is mounted so as to be movable relative to the support in a non-radial predetermined direction relative to an axis of rotation of the drum and intercepting this axis.

  • Patent number: 10639859
Abstract: A drum for building a green tire casing having: sectors that form a circumferential face of the drum, and at least one cam for controlling a radial movement of the sectors with respect to a rotation axis of the drum. The cam has two main faces and is designed such that a monotonous movement of the cam first of all causes the radial movement of some of the sectors by virtue of ramps situated on its first face without modifying a radial position of the other sectors, and then causes the radial movement of the other sectors by virtue of ramps situated on its second face, the movement of all of the sectors then being simultaneous.

  • Patent number: 8683941
Abstract: Device for applying a strip (B) of a viscoelastic material to a receiving surface (S) in relative motion (R) relative to said device, comprising a feed means and an application nozzle (1) having a body (11), into which said feed means (2) emerges, and a head (12) at the end of which there is an outlet orifice (122) of elongate shape in the transverse direction to the direction of the relative motion when the device is operating. The head (12) of the application nozzle (1) is linked to the body (11) of the application nozzle (1) via an articulation (10) which can be deformed along an axis (AA?) perpendicular to the direction of application of the strip (B).

  • Publication number: 20110174444
Abstract: Device (1) for applying a strip (B) of a viscoelastic material to a receiving surface (S) in relative motion (R) with respect to the device, comprising a feed means and an application nozzle (1) at the end of which there is an outlet orifice (10). The outlet orifice comprises a front lip (11) and a rear lip (12). The rear lip (12) is connected to an applicator flap (2) by an elastic articulated joint (3) so that the applicator flap (2) applies pressure pressing the strip (B) onto the surface (S) when the device (1) is functioning.

  • Publication number: 20090178757
Abstract: A fabrication method for a tire comprising a circumferential reinforcement, the said method comprising a stage during which a thread is wound around a form, the tension of the thread being managed during winding, in which method the thread tension is managed through the length of a compensation loop acted upon by a spring.

  • Patent number: 5894701
Abstract: A decorative modular wooden panel for applying onto a wall comprises a series of elongated wooden strips disposed in a side-by-side with a tongue-and-groove assembly and being pre-assembled together by way of a pair of removable connecting bars engaged in channels defined on the rear side of the panel and extending transversely across the strips. Staples are used to secure the connecting bars to the panel thereby retaining the strips together. The panel is secured to the wall with screws driven through opposed ends thereof and into the wall. Moldings extending across the opposed ends of the panel are secured thereto with finishing nails such as to conceal the screws and the upper ends of the strips. As no adhesives are used to secure the panel to the wall, the panel can be removed from the wall with minimal damage to the wall.
