Publication number: 20240075701Abstract: The facility comprises a tire-building station that is configured to form an uncured tire on a core. A curing station is configured to cure the assembly formed by the core and the uncured tire so as to obtain a cured annular tire. An extraction station is configured to separate, after the curing operation, the cured tire from the core. The curing station has a first, heating, thermal source which presses against the exchange face of the core for the curing operation and is then dissociated from the core and remains in the curing station in order to leave the exchange face free again when the core and the cured tire are transferred to the extraction station so that a second, refrigerating, thermal source of the extraction station takes the place of the first thermal source in contact with the exchange face of the core so as to cool the core.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 21, 2021Publication date: March 7, 2024Applicant: Compagnie Generale Des Etablissements MichelinInventors: David BOUCHEREAU, Jean MECHIN, Francois ROUYET, Jean-Claude DELORME, Stephane BARJON

Patent number: 10639859Abstract: A drum for building a green tire casing having: sectors that form a circumferential face of the drum, and at least one cam for controlling a radial movement of the sectors with respect to a rotation axis of the drum. The cam has two main faces and is designed such that a monotonous movement of the cam first of all causes the radial movement of some of the sectors by virtue of ramps situated on its first face without modifying a radial position of the other sectors, and then causes the radial movement of the other sectors by virtue of ramps situated on its second face, the movement of all of the sectors then being simultaneous.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2014Date of Patent: May 5, 2020Assignees: Compagnie Generale Des Etablissements Michelin, Michelin Recherche Et Technique, S.A.Inventors: Jean-Claude Delorme, Dominique Leblanc, Michel Druet

Publication number: 20170067379Abstract: A muffler for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine having a muffler body, a first chamber defined in the muffler body, a second chamber disposed at least in part in the first chamber, and a third chamber disposed at least in part in the first chamber. The second chamber has an inlet, an outlet, and at least one side wall. The at least one side wall of the second chamber defines at least one aperture fluidly communicating with the first chamber. The third chamber has an inlet, an outlet, and at least one side wall. The at least one side wall of the third chamber defines at least one aperture fluidly communicating with the first chamber. The outlet of one of the second and third chambers fluidly communicates with the first chamber. A vehicle having the muffler is also disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 25, 2015Publication date: March 9, 2017Inventors: Claude DELORME, Max RICHER

Patent number: 8683941Abstract: Device for applying a strip (B) of a viscoelastic material to a receiving surface (S) in relative motion (R) relative to said device, comprising a feed means and an application nozzle (1) having a body (11), into which said feed means (2) emerges, and a head (12) at the end of which there is an outlet orifice (122) of elongate shape in the transverse direction to the direction of the relative motion when the device is operating. The head (12) of the application nozzle (1) is linked to the body (11) of the application nozzle (1) via an articulation (10) which can be deformed along an axis (AA?) perpendicular to the direction of application of the strip (B).Type: GrantFiled: April 10, 2008Date of Patent: April 1, 2014Assignees: Michelin Recherche et Technique S.A., Compagnie Generale des Etablissments MichelinInventors: Jean-Claude Delorme, Christophe Ougier

Patent number: 5894701Abstract: A decorative modular wooden panel for applying onto a wall comprises a series of elongated wooden strips disposed in a side-by-side with a tongue-and-groove assembly and being pre-assembled together by way of a pair of removable connecting bars engaged in channels defined on the rear side of the panel and extending transversely across the strips. Staples are used to secure the connecting bars to the panel thereby retaining the strips together. The panel is secured to the wall with screws driven through opposed ends thereof and into the wall. Moldings extending across the opposed ends of the panel are secured thereto with finishing nails such as to conceal the screws and the upper ends of the strips. As no adhesives are used to secure the panel to the wall, the panel can be removed from the wall with minimal damage to the wall.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 1997Date of Patent: April 20, 1999Inventor: Claude Delorme
