  • Publication number: 20130136669
Abstract: The invention relates to an appliance for disinfecting the hands of a user, said appliance including: a disinfection chamber (1), at least one opening (10) through which the user inserts his or her hands (M) in the disinfection chamber; separators (4) placed in the disinfection chamber (1) such that the fingers are separated when the user inserts his or her hands in said chamber, characterised in that the disinfection chamber (1) is provided with a device for spraying a disinfectant product in said chamber and a device for blowing air into said chamber, said two devices operating at the same time, and in that the spraying device consists of injectors (11a, 11b, 12a, 12b) suitable for scattering a disinfectant product into the blown air stream, the scattering of the disinfectant product being carried out in a spatial sector defined by a vertical plane and an inclined plane of 1° to 90°, preferably 45° to 90°, relative to the axis of said air stream.

  • Patent number: 5954002
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for rapidly pricking out plants. It is comprised of a positioning element comprising an internal vertical passage wherein the plant together with its ball of earth, introduced through the top or through the bottom, may be immobilized momentarily by appropriate device, before it is driven from top to bottom towards the planting area by use of rods penetrating sideways into the positioning device through slots provide to this effect so as to bear directly to the earth ball without touching the foliage. It relates to the industrial field of agriculture machines and is intended to the automatic high speed transfer of earth ball-borne plantlets.

  • Patent number: 5241917
Abstract: Device for automatic positioning of plants is provided with a vertical positioner element conical at the top and cylindrical at the bottom wherein is introduced by known means the plant with its earth ball. The earth ball is located in the cylindrical portion while the plant itself is in the conical portion which is upwardly tapered. An insufflation head is provided with a seal adjusted to the positioner element and permitting the injection of air or a gas when the assembly, including the positioner element and the insufflation head, is above a hole which has been previously made in a receiver element where the planting is to take place. The device facilitates and automates the setting in place of plants of all kinds while preserving their integrity owing to the use of non-mechanical handling means.

  • Patent number: 4813178
Abstract: An open tubular element or container is designed for retaining plants, seedlings and dirt to enhance the cultivation and growth of plants and to automate the filling of containers with dirt and seedlings. The device includes two generally semi-cylindrical body sections, each of which has an upper integrally connected or separably attached semi-circular panel. Each of these panels includes a semi-circular opening and includes an upwardly extending semi-cylindrical funnel portion, so that when the semi-cylindrical body portions are joined to each other the semi-cylindrical funnel portions will form a cylindrical funnel which is coaxial and concentric with the outer periphery of said tubular body sections. A drainage opening is provided in a bottom panel and is formed by mating semi-circular openings in semi-circular panels attached to lower ends of each of said semi-cylindrical body sections. The lower opening is provided to drain water and other liquid outwardly from the bottom of the container.

  • Patent number: 4529596
Abstract: This invention relates to new thieno [3,2-c] pyridine derivatives having the formula: ##STR1## in which: Y represents the OH group or an OR group in which R is a straight or branched lower alkyl radical, or Y represents a group ##STR2## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently of each other, hydrogen or a straight or branched lower alkyl group; or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 form together and with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached a heterocycle which may include a second heteroatom such as oxygen or nitrogen, wherein the latter may be substituted by a lower alkyl or benzyl radical which may be substituted; and X represents hydrogen, a halogen or a lower alkyl radical; and their addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable mineral or organic acids if Y represents the group OR or ##STR3## or with mineral bases if Y represents OH, as well as the two enantiomers or their mixture.
