Abstract: A water treatment apparatus capable of sterilizing a storage tank and a sterilizing and cleansing method thereof are disclosed. The water treatment apparatus includes: a filter unit purifying raw water; a storage tank connected to the filter unit and storing purified water which has been filtered through the filter unit; an electrolytic sterilizer installed between the filter unit and the storage tank, electrolyzing only purified water which has been filtered through at least a portion of the filter unit to generate sterilization water, and supplying the sterilization water to the storage tank; a drain unit connected to the storage tank and discharging water accommodated in the storage tank; and a control unit controlling a water purification mode of the filter unit and a sterilization mode through the electrolytic sterilizer and the drain unit.

Abstract: The filter head having a filter head main body includes: an inflow passage communicating with an inflow portion; an outflow passage communicating with an outflow portion; a filter introduction hole communicating with the inflow passage, to which an introduction portion of a filter is connected when the filter is mounted; a filter discharge hole communicating with the outflow passage, to which a discharge portion of the filter is connected when the filter is mounted; and a bypass flow channel connecting the inflow passage and the outflow passage and allowing the remaining flow of the fluid introduced through the inflow portion to pass therethrough so as to be expelled together with the fluid which has passed through the filter, through the outflow portion.

Abstract: A water treatment apparatus is provided. In the water treatment apparatus, a filter unit includes a first electrochemical filter and a second electrochemical filter for filtering raw water. A control unit drives the first electrochemical filter and the second electrochemical filter. The first electrochemical filter and the second electrochemical filter are installed in parallel. The control unit controls the second electrochemical filter to perform a water purifying operation when the first electrochemical filter needs to be recycled.
