Abstract: The invention relates to a method for modelling the behaviour of a circular rolling mill (1) intended for rolling a cylindrical component on the basis of a setpoint, the circular rolling mill comprising at least one tapered roller (3) configured to effect a translational movement in a first direction (Y), and a mandrel (2), configured to effect a translational movement in a second direction (X), the setpoint comprising a setpoint for the rate of increase of an outside diameter of said cylindrical component as a function of said external diameter, and a setpoint for the height of the cylindrical component in the first direction as a function of a thickness of the cylindrical component in the second direction.

Abstract: A device is disclosed for locating an object situated close to a detection area and a transparent keyboard using said device. This device comprises a set of detection zones connected so as to form lines which extend parallel to each other and to a detection area, a second set of zones connected to each other so as to form columns which extend perpendicularly to the lines, at a small distance therefrom, a scanning device which applies an electric signal to the lines and columns and which identifies the lines and columns subject to a signal variation and means for determining the position of the object to be detected as a function of the lines and columns on which the signal variations have been detected.

Abstract: A door latch mechanism (15) having a rain deflector (17) for preventing passage of rain water and the like past the latch mechanism into the space (18) selectively closed by the door (13) carrying a portion of the latch mechanism. The deflector includes projections (32, 33) fitted into sockets (23, 24) of the frame (11) and includes a base wall portion (25) having a slot (34) embracing the strike (37) of the latch mechanism when installed therein. The deflector may be formed of synthetic resin at low cost and effectively hides the latch box mechanism for improved aesthetic effect.
