Abstract: A toothbrush holder enclosure is provided which includes a three parts: a back plate, a resilient clamp and a front cover. The back plate and front cover form a housing. The clamp part has an inverted “U” shape and is made of a resilient material giving it a springy property. The clamp is shaped to urge two clamp arms towards one another in order for the clamp to grip a toothbrush. Two rollers at the tips of the clamp arms engage a toothbrush head inserted in the clamp as the clamp is spread apart from the clamped position to a deviated state. With the toothbrush inserted, the rollers exert pressure on a neck of the toothbrush to hold the toothbrush fast in place. The rolling engagement action of the rollers permits gripping toothbrushes having heads fitted with rubber sides.

Abstract: A stand for receiving a corkscrew having a body with a bottom portion having a magnetic metallic bottom surface or a magnetic member. The stand comprises a bottom portion for contacting a horizontal surface; a top portion being opposed to the bottom portion, and a peripheral wall at least partially extending between the bottom and top portions. The top portion defines a base for receiving the corkscrew's body, the base comprising a magnetic member or a magnetic metallic upper surface adapted to magnetically affix the bottom portion of the corkscrew's body to the base.

Abstract: A cassette for use in dispensing a pleated tubing to collect waste material is formed of an annular body having a U-shaped cross-section in which is packed the pleated tubing in layered form and of an annular flange which extends over the housing. The flange has an inner portion that extends downwardly to engage the upper part of the inner wall of the annular body and an outwardly projecting portion that extends over the housing. The outwardly projecting portion has an annular funnel area to assist in the sliding of the pleated tubing when pulled through the central core of the annular body.

Abstract: A locking mechanism is integrally formed with a plastic belt or other flat band article where opposed end portions of a flat band need to be connected together. One of the band end portions has a lock housing mechanism at a free end thereof. The lock mechanism has a guide passageway for receiving and guiding the other band end portion through the lock housing mechanism. The other band end portion has a series of incremental engageable teeth which are engaged in the housing by an flexible arresting wedge to prevent the other band end portions to be retracted from the guide passageway of the lock housing. Finger actuable release tabs are accessible from the outside of the housing and provide for the disengagement of the arresting wedge with the incremental engaging teeth formed in the other band end portion for it to be retracted from the lock housing.
