  • Patent number: 4615234
Abstract: The device has a drum constituted by a disc in one of the sides of which is formed a generally spiral-shaped groove. A cable retaining cap in the form of a fixed plate is placed against this side of the disc. When winding or unwinding the cable, the latter bears essentially against the lateral walls of the groove and substantially avoids rubbing against the cap. This results in high efficiency of the device and enables the device to be employed in automobile window-raisers.
