Abstract: Storage-stable, pumpable, concentrated polymer suspensions, well adapted for use as thickening and flocculating agents, are comprised of (i) a water-soluble polymer, (ii) at least one water-soluble surfactant, and (iii) water, the amount of water being less than about 30% by weight of the total weight thereof.

Abstract: Process for preventing soil redeposition onto textile articles made of natural, synthetic or artificial fibers or a blend thereof, during dry cleaning operations using stabilized perchloroethylene.It is characterized in that a sufficient amount of at least one C.sub.4 to C.sub.6 alcohol, chosen from amongst those having a boiling point of between 95.degree. and 140.degree. C. and those forming, with the perchloroethylene, an azeotrope having a boiling point of between 80.degree. and 130.degree. C., is incorporated into this perchloroethylene.

Abstract: Process for anti-redeposition of staining substances on textiles of natural, synthetic or artificial fibers or mixtures thereof in the course of operations of dry cleaning or de-oiling by means of suitably stabilized perchloroethylene in which a sufficient amount of an additive represented by at least one monoketone compound having a boiling point below or equal to 160.degree. C. and, preferably lower than 140.degree. C., is added as an anti-redeposition additive.
