    Abstract: A drainage circuit surrounding a hydraulic circuit, such as a circuit for distributing drinking water on an aircraft, includes an element around one enlarged portion (right connector, T, Y connector, etc) of the hydraulic circuit, namely a draining unit (20) formed of two half shells (24, 26) and tubular joining pieces (28). Imperviousness between the two half shells and between the half shells and the joining pieces is ensured by projecting portions (36, 38) which penetrate into a humidity-repellent stabilized gel (40) placed inside receptacles (42, 44). In addition, clipping members (48, 50) are provided on the half shells.

    Abstract: A compliant pin for preferable insertion into a multi-layer backpanel is disclosed. The pin includes a wire-wrap area, a pin stop, and a connector area. Between the connector area and the stop there is located the compliant area which forms the critical function of pin support and electrical connection. The compliant area includes first and second legs spreading out to define an eye from the pin stop adjacent the wire-wrap area of the pin. Similarly, the paired legs come together at a symmetrically defined eye adjacent the connector area. In between the eyes, along the compliant portions of the leg, are formed opposing offset wedges. The opposing offset wedges are defined by a stamping process which process does not deform the sheet of material out of which the pin is made from its original planar disposition. Looking at the pin in section, paired and offset wedges are formed at an approximate 45.degree. angle to the plane of the material from which the pin is formed.

    Abstract: Press fit contacts having upper mating portions are stamped, formed and oriented out of sheet material for simultaneous insertion and housing in a removable connector insulator. Receiving sleeves formed in the insulator are constructed to permit the contacts to be bottom loaded into the sleeves, seated and lightly held therein. Each contact includes an intermediate press fit collar portion which engages a mating shoulder in the insulator. The insulator serves as a holding fixture and seating tool for transmitting insertion force applied to the top of the insulator to each one of the contacts for press fitting them into contact receiving apertures in a mounting substrate. The contacts held by each insulator are all simultaneously press fitted into the substrate by continuing to apply pressure to the top of the insulator until it is mounted flush upon the substrate.
