  • Patent number: 6672818
Abstract: A magnetically driven pump comprises a sealing partition 48 whereof the central portion forms the rotational axis of the rotating portion of the pump, that central portion being itself supported and centered by a rotating connection piece 42 linked to or integral with drive shaft 41 of the motor 29.

    Filed: March 5, 2002
Date of Patent: January 6, 2004
    Assignee: Societe Siebec
Inventors: Claude Terracol, Jean Guy Villette
  • Patent number: 5601717
Abstract: A filter cartridge has a pleated filter media rolled into a cylinder, a tubular core, moulded from plastic with alternate grooves and ridges provided at the outer surface and a collar with uniformly spaced teeth which envelopes the filter media to rigidly space the pleats. The collar is retained by friction and it may be displaced towards the end caps of the cartridge. The core may be withdrawn from the filter media of a waste cartridge and utilized in a new cartridge. The upper end cap has a handle with a hinge provided by a reduced section of the plastic material.

  • Patent number: 5145047
Abstract: The production system comprises a lift and carry device (6) and a handling unit (9) each actuated by an electric motor (13, 14), the two motors being synchronized. The rectangular walking beam lift and carry cycle of the products (1) is perfected by modulation of the speeds limiting the impacts exerted on the product. The vertical movement (M1-M2; M3-M4) of the movable walking beam support (11) present an intermediate low-speed phase corresponding to contact or placing of the product to limit impacts.

  • Patent number: 5062525
Abstract: A production machine equipped with two walking beam lift and carry devices forming two parallel tracks, a main track and a branch track. Transfer of a part from the branch track to the main track is achieved by a handling unit synchronized with the walking beam.

  • Patent number: 4695913
Abstract: A circuit breaker, notably breaking the phase and neutral circuit, contains a shunt circuit, constituted by a switching electrode disposed in proximity to the phase contacts to pick up an arc drawn between these contacts, when opening occurs on a short-circuit. Transferring the arc onto the switching electrode closes a shunt circuit, creating an internal short-circuit protecting the cables and receivers downstream from the circuit breaker. The shunt circuit is broken when the arc is blown out in the arc chute. Fast shifting of the arc protects the contact surfaces, notably of the neutral contacts, enabling these contacts to be used for an impulse relay or remote-controlled contactor function.

  • Patent number: 4039983
Abstract: High-current, current-limiting circit interrupter having arcing contacts connected in parallel with the main contacts. Impetus means open the main contacts strikingly to switch the short-circuit current to the high-resistance arcing circuit. Electrodynamic means cause the arcing contacts to remain closed a short lapse of time after the transfer of the short-circuit current to the arcing circuit. Further electrodynamic means cause the arcing contacts to open sequentially.

  • Patent number: 4001738
Abstract: Circuit interrupter having a magnetic circuit energized by the current flowing through the interrupter and an induction plate that is movable with the movable contact of the interrupter. The abrupt rising of a fault current induces secondary currents in the induction plate which is located in the air gap of the magnetic circuit as long as the interrupter is in the closed-circuit position. The secondary currents tend to expel the induction plate from the air gap thereby moving the movable contact vigorously away from the magnetic circuit.
