Abstract: The present invention refers to systems of distribution and preparation of edible products, that include cartridges (1, 1?) adapted for collection of single portions (2) of edible substances devoid of single packages, and apparatus (10) for preparation of edible products, such as aromatic beverages, for example espresso type coffee, adapted for operating single portions (2) in product preparation devices (12), for example extraction devices, whereby these systems present retention means (7) and, optionally, a respective connection disposition (8), adapted so that provide a simpler and more reliable regulation of delivery of single portions (2) one-by-one to said product preparation device (12), as well as present a simpler construction and provider enhanced ergonomics. The present invention further refers to processes of operation of systems of the type of the present invention.

Abstract: The present invention discloses composite substances that can be used in the production of objects and building materials by means of fusion thereof, and provide particular physical properties, including barrier to the transmission of ultraviolet radiation and to the transfer of liquids and gases, whereby said composite substances present thermoplastic matrixes that include synthetic polymers and/or bio-polymers, as well as further vegetal fibre associated with at least one sub-product from the processing of an edible vegetal substance, thereby providing a new economic utilization of such sub-products, and composite substances with a high degree of bio-degradation once of the disposal thereof. The present invention further discloses uses of said composite substances and processes for production of said composite substances.

Abstract: The present invention discloses collection confinements adapted for collection and preservation of edible substances during a minimal period of time required for conservation thereof, in particular aromatic edible substances, such as for example substances derived or associated with coffee or containing caffeine, whereby said confinements are produced in composite materials that provide barrier to the transfer of liquids and gases and present compositions that include synthetic polymers and/or bio-polymers, as well as further vegetal fibre associated with at least one sub-product from processing of the edible vegetal having affinity with the one being collected in said confinement, such as for example fibre of coffee silverscreen resulting from roasting of coffee beans, thereby providing a new economic utilization of such sub-products, and confinements presenting high bio-degradation degree once disposed thereof.
