Patent number: 10837708Abstract: A heat exchanger, in particular exhaust-gas cooler, is described herein. The heat exchanger includes tubes of unipartite form or formed from two plates. The tubes form a first and a second fluid duct, and the respective fluid ducts are arranged adjacent to one another. The first fluid duct is designed to be open at at least one of its ends for the inflow and/or outflow of a first fluid. The second fluid ducts are closed at an end side of the tubes by way of an inward or outward step. The step has a greater extent T in the tube longitudinal direction in the corner regions of the tube than between the corner regions. Several non-limiting descriptive embodiments are disclosed herein.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2015Date of Patent: November 17, 2020Assignee: MAHLE INTERNATIONAL GMBHInventors: Ulrich Maucher, Jürgen Barwig, Steffen Ensminger, Eberhard Pantow, Claudia Lang, Timo Peifer, Matthias Schmid, Jürgen Steimer

Patent number: 10314801Abstract: The invention provides coated particles with a taste-masked drug substance. The particles comprise a core with the agglomerated active ingredient and a coating comprising a triglyceride and a surfactant. The particles exhibit rapid drug release and a stable release profile. Moreover, the invention provides a hot-melt coating method for manufacturing such particles, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the particles. The method allows the coating of core particles at moderate temperatures, thereby preventing the degradation of the thermolabile active ingredient.Type: GrantFiled: June 19, 2015Date of Patent: June 11, 2019Assignee: HERMES ARZNEIMITTEL GMBHInventors: Klaus Dandl, Detlev Haack, Karin Becker, Andreas Zimmer, Claudia Lang, Sharareh Salar Behzadi

Patent number: 8720199Abstract: A heat exchanger for heat exchange between a first fluid and a second fluid is provided that includes: a block for guiding the first fluid and the second fluid separately and in a heat-exchanging manner, and a fluid connection for the first fluid. The block comprises a housing provided with a chamber through which the second fluid can flow, and a block end element for the fluid-tight separation of the chamber and the fluid connection. The housing can be provided for connecting the block to the fluid connection. The block end element is not used to connect the block to the fluid connection but rather preferably only the housing. The housing can be thickened accordingly in the region of the block connection. The fixing point for the block end element to the housing and the fixing point for the fluid connection to the housing are at a distance from each other.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2009Date of Patent: May 13, 2014Assignee: Behr GmbH & Co. KGInventors: Michael Gaensler, Igor Gruden, Heiko Wader, Wolfgang Weller, Goetz Von Esebeck, Dennie Danielsson, Stefan Neher, Claudia Lang, Reinhard Blanke
