Abstract: The invention relates to particles of bleach material that comprise at least two coating layers. At least one of the coating layers comprises a sugar compound and at least one other coating layer comprises a polymer. The invention also relates to detergent compositions containing the coated particles.

Abstract: The invention comprises a method of cleaning a kitchenware article, the method comprising a pre-treatment step in which a pre-cleaning composition is applied to the kitchenware article; and a dishwashing step in which the kitchenware article is washed in a dishwashing machine using a dishwashing composition; characterised in that the pre-cleaning composition is ejected from a pressurised aerosol canister and provides a cleaning foam on the surface of the kitchenware article.

Abstract: The present invention provides easy to handle, stable bleach material particle comprising a co-granulate of a bleach material, a water soluble binder and a disintegrant. It also provides easy to handle, stable shaped bodies comprising bleach material, a binder and a disintegrant where at least the bleach material and the binder are preferably co-granulated together. Detergent compositions comprising the bleach material particle or the shaped body are also provided. The products of the invention exhibit good solubility characteristics and bleachable stain removal performance.

Abstract: A method for producing compressed tablets comprising bleach material, the method comprising the steps of; 1) forming a co-granulate comprising a bleach material and a water soluble binder, 2) adding the co-granulate from step 1, or a mixture comprising the co-granulate from step 1, to a mould cavity of a tablet-compressing machine, 3) applying a mean compression force to the co-granulate or the mixture in step 2 to form a compressed tablet and wherein the mean compression force used in step 3 is in the range of from 0.25 kN to 5 kN. The preferred bleach is PAP. The compressed tablets produced by the method exhibit good dissolution properties and good performance on bleachable stains.

Abstract: An automatic dishwashing machine cleaning composition for use during one or more wash and/or rinse cycle(s) of the dishwashing machine, the composition having an alkaline pH and comprising at least one non-starch carbohydrase which exhibits activity at a pH of 8 or above. A method of using said composition is also disclosed.
