  • Publication number: 20210281021
Abstract: Devices, systems, and techniques are described for providing an indication of the presence of an electrical voltage potential at one or more electrical conductors and/or electrical terminals received in an electrical coupler. Examples of electrical couplers include an illumination coupling comprising a front flange, a rear flange, and an illumination channel extending between the front flange and the rear flange and configured to encircle a portion of the electrical coupler. A plurality of illumination devices positioned at least partially within the illumination channel are configured to provide visible light emissions when illuminated that are indicative of the presence of an electrical voltage potential on at least one of the one or more electrical conductors and/or electrical terminals received within the electrical coupler.

  • Publication number: 20040143383
Abstract: A method for controlling and/or adjusting a torque transmission system in the drive chain of a vehicle, especially a motor vehicle, wherein a clutch torque is modified according to a starting resistance of the vehicle in order to provide a strategy for the start of said vehicle. According to the invention, said strategy is modified in such a way that the progression of said clutch torque is adapted to a starting situation.

  • Patent number: 6470253
Abstract: A vehicle including a device for determining vehicle operational data and for determining distance traveled by the vehicle. A memory is provided for storing the operational data together with the distance traveled as paired values for subsequent diagnostic and maintenance purposes. Signals representative of engine rotational speed, transmission input rotational speed, and torque transmitted by the clutch are sensed for determining clutch performance loss values, and the performance loss values are stored in the memory as paired values along with the vehicle distance traveled.
