    Abstract: A conveyor section for workpiece containers has a conveyor belt and a conveyor belt guide. A layer is applied between the conveyor belt guide and the conveyor belt at least in regions of the conveyor section, with the coefficient of friction between the conveyor belt and the layer being lower than the coefficient of friction between the conveyor belt and the conveyor belt guide. The layer is also adapted to the relevant environmental conditions of the regions of the conveyor section.
