  • Patent number: 12520964
Abstract: A steam production system for professional coffee machines includes a nozzle; a boiler for producing steam in flow communication with a water source and the nozzle. The boiler is equipped with an independent heating device for the initial production of steam. The system further includes a heating assembly to instantaneously produce steam in flow communication with the boiler and/or the nozzle. The heating assembly includes an electric heating element; a heat exchanger associated with the electric heating element; and a water passage circuit associated with the heat exchanger which has an inlet joined to a water supply source or to a duct arriving from the latter and an outlet of the produced steam connected to the boiler and/or to the nozzle. The system also includes a programmable electronic unit operatively connected to the boiler and to the heating assembly to ensure the supply of steam to the nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20250107655
Abstract: A hot beverage dispensing system having a diverter that can switch between a first conduit of a hotter water circuit and a second conduit of a less hot water circuit in such a way to vary a dispensing temperature of the hot water to extract the beverage in a shortest time possible.

  • Publication number: 20240298846
Abstract: A coffee grinder includes a load cell fixed to a bracket for measuring the weight of coffee powder contained in the filter of a filter holder arranged in a seat of the bracket. The load cell has rear and front portions attached to the bracket, and a holder attached to a base, wherein the load cell is mounted on the support, so that the rear portion of the load cell is attached to the rear portion of the support, and the front portion of the load cell is spaced away from the front portion of the support to leave a gap between the front portion of the support and the front portion of the load cell. The width of the gap is such to allow for a downward bending of the front portion of the load cell that is lower than a maximum load limit of the load cell.

  • Publication number: 20210022546
Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a body placed inside a discharge container of a solenoid valve of a machine for coffee dispensing. The body includes: a first portion presenting a collection cavity of a hot waste fluid coming from the solenoid valve of the machine and defining a first surface arranged to come into contact with the hot waste fluid and a second surface facing the opposite side from the first surface; and a second portion presenting a primary surface in contact with the second surface of the first portion and a secondary surface opposed to the primary surface, arranged to come into contact with a heat exchange fluid of the machine having a different temperature from the temperature of the hot waste fluid. The first and second portions allow heat exchange, by conduction, between the hot waste fluid and the heat exchange fluid of the machine.
