Abstract: The present invention concerns a digital carrier for data storage, which carrier has no through hole, is preferably made as a card conforming to ISO standard 7810 and has an optical surface that can be read/written in an optical disc reader/writer. Said carrier comprises, at the center of said annular surface, a body that can be magnetically attracted whereby at least one face of the carrier is obtained that is wholly available for printing processes. The invention further concerns a device for reading and/or reading/writing said digital carrier.
