Abstract: A process for the catalytic cracking in a fluidized bed where the feed stock is fully and previously vaporized before made to contact the cracking catalyst which has its origin in the regenerator. The pre-vaporization of the feed dispenses with the heat exchange with the catalyst in order to vaporize the feed. Thus, coke deposits on the catalyst surface are reduced, the yield of the gasoline unit is improved and the unit may operate under very low contact times (<0.5 seconds). Modes for adjusting the heat balance of the unit as a function of the increase in the feed temperature without harm to the catalyst circulation are also presented.
