Patent number: 9370752Abstract: An aeration element for gasification or aeration of liquids includes an essentially flattened, rigid support element having a substantially oval cross-section and corrugated outer surfaces, the corrugated outer surfaces including ridges defining grooves therebetween; a threaded opening for receiving a cooperating fitting for connection to an air supply; and a flexible membrane of elastomeric material disposed around the support element, The membrane has a plurality of slits, and wherein compressed gas is introduced between the support element and the membrane, the gas can escape via these slits into the surrounding liquid. A retaining clamp holds the membrane around at least one end of the support element. A check valve assembly prevents backflow of liquid, particles, sludge or debris into the interior of the support element.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2013Date of Patent: June 21, 2016Assignee: Artemis Rubber Technology, Inc.Inventor: Claudius Jäger

Publication number: 20140270931Abstract: A pet toy having a first part with internal threads, and a second part having external threads. When the first and second parts are threaded together by interengagement of their internal and external threads, they cooperate frictionally with one another to prevent, or at least to make difficult, an unintentional unthreading of the two parts from one another, wherein the threaded-together parts form a pet toy. To make unintentional unthreading even more difficult, additional engagement means can be provided on the first part and additional cooperating second engagement means can be provided on the second part.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 15, 2013Publication date: September 18, 2014Applicant: Artemis Rubber TechnologyInventor: Claudius Jäger

Patent number: 7497421Abstract: An apparatus for the gasification or aeration of liquids. Elongated aeration elements are connected to a distribution conduit and have an essentially rigid support tube having a lengthwise rounded groove about which is disposed a membrane of elastomeric material. Compressed gas introduced between the support tube and membrane escapes via slits in the membrane. An elastically deformable flange of a cylindrical portion of a fitting with a plastic semi-rigid saddle portion is disposed between the distribution conduit and one of the aeration elements, and is disposed in a bore in the conduit. The fitting has an essentially flat saddle portion, one side of which rests against the outer surface of the conduit, and the other side of which rests against an end of the aeration element. A hollow bolt is securely connected to the aeration element and is guided through a bore in the fitting into the interior of the conduit, where it is provided with apertures.Type: GrantFiled: February 3, 2006Date of Patent: March 3, 2009Assignee: Gummi-Jaeger LLCInventor: Claudius Jager
