Abstract: The invention relates to a device (1) for complete or partial closing-off of a fluid-conveying pipe (2) which is under elevated pressure, wherein the device comprises the following: a pipe connector (3), a close-off element (6), and an actuating apparatus (8) for the close-off element, wherein the close-off element is a solid, unchangeable element which in the non-closing state is received in an extension (5) attached to the pipe connector in order to receive the close-off element, and is movable in a linear manner out of the extension into the pipe connector for the closing state.
