Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel, waisted and modular structural holder, comprising a base (7) or a base plate (7a), which base or base plate is provided with cutouts, and, in one embodiment, can be connected or is connected by latching hooks (5) and (6) to a holder (1), i.e. an illuminant holder (1), which, together with a decorative sleeve, for example 16 or 16a, produces the novel structural holder. The decorative sleeves can be of diverse configuration, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, as cylinders, if desired can also be of conical configuration or alternatively in the form of a canopy (22). The structural holder according to the invention can be fastened at the beginning in a suspended manner like a conventional structural holder with a strain relief device.
