  • Publication number: 20210214186
Abstract: An interface device for controlling displaying of a destination call includes an input configured to receive input information comprising a passenger ID, a controller entity, configured to retrieve the destination call corresponding to the passenger ID, and at least one display configured to display the retrieved destination call. An elevator system and a method for controlling displaying of a destination call include the interface device.

  • Patent number: 10336573
Abstract: A method for allowing pre-allocation of an elevator call in an elevator system with destination control is provided. A first signal is received at an elevator group controller of an elevator system with destination control. The first signal indicates that a passenger including a passenger is detected to be approaching the elevator system at one of multiple floors associated with the elevator system. In response, allocation of an elevator call for the detected passenger is initiated, wherein the one of the multiple floors is assigned as the departure floor for the elevator call.

  • Publication number: 20170362055
Abstract: In modern elevators, safety circuits are used for preventing the operation of an elevator having possibly safety related problems. Sometimes the problem is in the safety circuit itself, and the operation could be continued. In a disclosed arrangement, groups of at least two independent safety circuits are used. The operation of the elevator can be continued in the case where one safety circuit in each group indicates that there is a possible problem. Thus, one deficient safety switch in one safety circuit does not prevent the operation.

  • Publication number: 20140132572
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for the automatic calibrating of a touch-sensitive display, and also a touch-sensitive display. The touch-sensitive display comprises a display element, a plurality of force sensors for measuring the forces acting on the display element, and also a plurality of force components for producing forces acting on the display element. When a calibration need of the touch-sensitive display is verified, forces acting on the display element are produced with force components, the responses caused by the forces produced with the force components are measured with the force sensors, and calibration parameters are determined on the basis of the responses measured with the force sensors and on the basis of the position data of the force components.
