The apparatus includes a first attachment member (3) and a second attachment member (4), the first attachment member (3) and the second attachment member (4) being magnetically attracted to each other. A housing (5) includes an audio output component (8) and the first attachment member (3). A flexible elongated member (6) extends from the housing (5), the second attachment member (4) is secured to the flexible elongated member (6) at an adjustable position along the flexible elongated member (6) to allow for manual adjustment of a distance (d) along the flexible elongated member (6) between the housing (5) and the second attachment member (4). The second attachment member (4) is adapted for engaging magnetically with the first attachment member (3) through the auricle (2) of the user with the distance (d) matching the size of the auricle (2) of the user.

Abstract: A method for determining the presence of the multicast routers using existing protocols is disclosed. The method includes setting a time interval between a first set of query messages to each of a plurality of routers to a number greater than a querier timeout period used by the routers. The querier timeout period transitions each of the routers into a querier. The presence of each of the routers is revealed by sending a second set of query messages. Membership report messages are then sent to the routers.

Abstract: A coffee pot has a strainer (3) in the form of a bag which extends down into the pot (1). Ground coffee (6) is first poured into the pot (1), and then hot water (5) is filled into the pot, causing the coffee (6) to be stirred up and to be mixed with the water, so that the coffee extraction takes place in a gentle and effective manner. Over time, the ground coffee (6) quietly precipitates on the bottom of the pot. When the coffee is poured out of the pot, the coffee grounds (6) are retained in the pot by the strainer element (3).

Abstract: By providing a coffee pot with a strainer (3) in the form of a bag which extends down into the pot (1), coffee may be brewed in a novel and more advantageous manner.

Abstract: A combination drinking glass and wine glass rack of the invention is adapted to receive both drinking glasses and wine glasses, and adjustable for accommodating varying sizes of glasses. The combination drinking glass and wine glass rack of the invention comprises a support board and at least one support arm pairs, each support arm pair comprising an downwardly angled arm and an upwardly angled arm. Each support arm comprises an upper rod portion and a lower rod portion. The lower rod portions of one support arm pair provide a support for the bases of drinking glasses and simultaneously a support from which wine glasses bases are suspended.

Abstract: An extendable rail system is comprised of a support beam, a slide beam and a storage beam. The slide beam and storage beam extend horizontally and are supported by load rollers at one end and by a grooved roller at the other end. The grooved roller of the slide beam mates with an extension of the support beam. The grooved roller of the storage beam mates with an extension on the slide beam. The slide beam includes first and second lateral flanges. Roller members attached to the support beam and to the storage beam, roll along the inner tracks of the flanges to hold the slide beam adjacent the support beam and the storage beam adjacent the slide beam. A brake is provided comprising a rod extending the length of the storage beam and first and second member connected to the storage beam. Both members have an opening for slidable movement of the members along the tube.
