  • Patent number: 10060506
Abstract: A flexurally elastic drive belt (1) has a cover layer (2), a reinforcement layer (3) formed of individual cords (4) and a substructure (5). The substructure can include ribs (6) and grooves (7). The drive belt is further provided with a textile overlay on the working side (8) thereof that is susceptible to wear. The textile overlay (10; section B of FIG. 1) of the drive belt (1) combines a very durable resistance to wear and a noise attenuation especially for wet noises. This is achieved in that the overlay has, in a state in advance of fabrication and vulcanization, an elongation at tear of at least 30% in the longitudinal direction and of at least 100% in the transverse direction and is made of a textile material including staple fibers in a proportion in terms of quantity of at least 30% by weight.

  • Patent number: 9656204
Abstract: A method for obtaining highly pure hydrogen from a raw gas begins with heating and/or treating a semipermeable material made of metal or a metal alloy, preferably, conducting an electric current through the semipermeable material at the beginning of the method in order to increase the quantity of hydrogen passing through the material. A device for obtaining highly pure hydrogen from the raw gas includes a semipermeable material which forms a boundary between the interior of a pressure vessel and the outer region of the pressure vessel and which is permeable to hydrogen. The device is designed such that is can be heatable or treatable at least in sections, in particular, by means of electric energy.

  • Patent number: 8507391
Abstract: An article has an elastic main element based on a vulcanizate having a wear-susceptible article surface. The article is primarily a drive belt (8) having a top layer (9) as the belt rear and a substructure (10) having a force transmission zone (13), wherein the force transmission zone and/or the top layer is/are supplied with a textile overlay (15), wherein the textile overlay is in turn additionally prepared with a plastic. The plastic is a bonding agent that is arranged between the main body and the textile overlay (15), wherein the plastic is supplied such that it melts during vulcanization and penetrates into the textile overlay while bonding, connected to a permanent adhesive bond between main body and textile overlay. A cotton fabric is used as the textile overlay (15), for example. The plastic is in the form of a film, for example, particularly in the form of a PE film. The primary purpose of use is the V-belt, ribbed V-belt (8) and the toothed belt.

  • Patent number: 8262523
Abstract: V-ribbed belts are formed by thermoplastic shaping and contain ribs that run at least on a first side in a longitudinal direction of the V-ribbed belt. The first side contains a layer composed of a textile warp-knit fabric made up of two different yarns. The warp-knit fabric is constructed from a first yarn composed of filaments with a module of more than 5N/1000 dtex, and a second yarn composed of filaments with a module of less than 2 cN/1000 dtex, both based on 5% extension. The first and second yarns form a coherent network and the yarns do not twine around one another. V-ribbed belts can be formed using an elastic warp-knit fabric, whose extension is based on the construction of the knitted fabrics. The belts maintain better noise reduction both in the new state and after a relatively long service life.
