Abstract: A device for the netting of trees, which device comprises a supply opening (1) and a device for the application of a net sleeving (5) around a tree when the latter is carried through the device. The device for the application of a net sleeving (5) around a tree is separated from the supply opening (1) and comprises a netting tube (4), on the outside of which the net (5) is located, the end of the net (5) being bent around that end (7) of the netting tube (4) that faces towards the supply opening (1) and extends into the netting tube (4). Also a method for the netting of trees, wherein the net (5) is applied to the tree inside a netting tube (4) located immediately after the supply opening (1).

Abstract: A device for packing trees and greenery on a pallet or the like having lateral supports. The device comprises a base part capable of supporting a pallet and a working tower protruding upwards from one side of the base part. The working tower comprises a top part which is movable between a horizontal position and a vertical position, and which, at least in its horizontal position, is slidable in a vertical direction to compress the trees packed on the pallet. The device additionally comprises a frame which at least comprises plate parts at the ends of the pallet, and which together with the lateral supports of the pallet defines a delimited loading area for trees and greenery. The frame is vertically slidable, and the top part has an extent in its horizontal position which cause trees and greenery as well as the frame to be pressed downwards by the top part during the compression. Also described is a method of compressed packing of trees and greenery on a pallet or the like having lateral supports.

Abstract: A pallet including a load-receiving support with supporting joists, the pallet being provided with removable lateral supports. The pallet is characterized in that the load-receiving surface is provided with indentations of a configuration that substantially corresponds to the shape of the removable lateral supports. Such a pallet can be used in the stacking and distribution of Christmas trees and decorative greenery.
