  • Patent number: 10038859
Abstract: In example embodiments, a system and method for presenting multiple content (e.g., programs) on a single presentation device to a plurality of viewers is provided. The method comprises causing presentation of a combined video stream on the single presentation device. The combined video stream combines video data for at least a first video content of a first content stream and a second video content of a second content stream. The first video content is viewable by a first viewer and the second video content is viewable a second viewer. A control signal is received from a handheld device of the first viewer that indicates an action to be performed on the first video content. The combined video stream is modified to cause the action to be performed on the first video content. The adjusting of the combined video stream has no effect on the display of the second video content.

  • Patent number: 9711128
Abstract: In example embodiments, a system and method for presenting a combined audio stream from a single presentation system to a plurality of users is provided. The method comprises receiving an audio filtering signal, the audio filtering signal corresponding to unwanted audio data to be filtered from an ambient audio signal that includes a combined audio stream output from an audio output device of the single presentation system. A device filtering signal is generated based on the audio filtering signal. The device filtering signal is output by an audio device of a user (e.g., headphone). The device filtering signal is played through the audio device to filter out the unwanted audio data while allowing other audio data in the ambient audio signal to be heard by the user.

  • Patent number: 6167023
Abstract: A releasable disc adaptor for conforming the central hub of an information storage disc to a standardized magneto-optical disc drive spindle. The disc adaptor includes a hub receiving member having a center connected to a medium receiving member having a center. The centers of the medium receiving and hub receiving members are collinear. The adaptor includes a hub fastener fixedly mounted to the hub receiving member. The hub fastener is utilized to removably secure the hub receiving member to a disc drive spindle. The adaptor also includes a medium fastener connected to the medium receiving member. The medium fastener is used to removably secure the central hub of an information storage disc to the hub receiving member and prevent slippage therebetween so that the disc hub is thereby conformed to properly seat on the disc drive spindle while thereafter allowing the disc to be fully disengaged from the adaptor members for proper seating on an alternate disc drive spindle.
