  • Publication number: 20240159119
Abstract: An external filter assembly is shown having a slotted filter section, including an optional upper collar attached below the mounting member, and lower collar attached below the bottom cap of a lower filter element, where each collar includes a plurality of extensions containing magnets. Specifically, in the case of each extension, a bore is formed longitudinally within the extension, and a diametrically magnetic rare earth (neodymium) high-temperature rated magnet is permanently installed within the bore. Thus, with magnets installed in all of the extensions, metal debris passing through the assembly at any location, whether the upper collar or lower collar, is likely to be attracted to and retained by the extensions.

  • Publication number: 20240061900
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can determine a set of candidate values for a field in a page. The set of candidate values can be evaluated for accuracy based at least in part on a machine learning model, wherein the machine learning model outputs a respective score for each candidate value that measures an accuracy of the candidate value for the field in the page. A best scoring candidate value can be determined from the set of candidate values. The field in the page can be associated with the best scoring candidate value.

  • Publication number: 20220096844
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for optimizing hemodynamics within a patient's heart, e.g., to improve the patient's exercise capacity. In one embodiment, a system is configured to be implanted in a patient's body to monitor and/or treat the patient that includes at least one sensor configured to provide sensor data that corresponds to a blood pressure within or near the patient's heart; at least one adjustable component designed to cause blood to flow in a direction opposite to the normal direction (regurgitation) within the patient's heart; and a controller configured for adjusting the function of the at least one adjustable component based at least in part on sensor data from the at least one sensor.

  • Publication number: 20220001163
Abstract: Apparatus, systems, and methods are provided for optimizing intracardiac filling pressures and cardiac output in patients with heart failure, conduction disease, and atrial fibrillation. The system is able to adjust and optimize intracardiac filling pressures and cardiac output by adjusting heart rate and the effective amount of total body blood volume. The device includes an adjustable member that may create a mean pressure differential in order to manifest an effective “mechanical diuresis” by sequestering extraneous blood volume to the high-capacitance of the venous vasculature. The system is therefore designed to reduce intracardiac filling pressures while maintaining or even increasing cardiac output.

  • Patent number: 10061797
Abstract: A social networking system allows its users to provide metadata for association with objects maintained by the social networking system. Some of the metadata may be presented to other users along with the object. To prevent association of inaccurate metadata with an object, the social networking system determines a confidence value associated with a user who provided metadata for association with an object. The confidence value indicates of the accuracy of metadata provided by the user relative to information associated with the object. If the user has previously provided less than a threshold amount of metadata to associate with objects, the confidence score is determined using characteristics associated with the user by the social networking system. The metadata provided by the user is stored but not associated with the object if the user's confidence value is less than a threshold value.
