  • Publication number: 20240053156
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for data processing, and more specifically for classifying telematics data to identify gig driving associated with vehicle trips. In one implementation, a method may include the operations of segmenting a trip of a vehicle to yield multiple segments, generating, via a feature extraction component, one or more input features associated with each segment of the multiple segments based on input data indicating driving characteristics during the trip, determining, via a gig detection component, whether the trip is associated with gig driving based on the one or more input features associated with teach segment, and outputting an indication of whether the trip is associated with gig driving based on the determination.

  • Publication number: 20230267781
Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses may determine, based upon edge-computing operations, that a vehicular trip has been initiated and cause one or more sensors to collect vehicle data. One or more trip segments for at least a portion of the vehicular trip may be determined. In some aspects, for each trip segment, a first plurality of time features and a second plurality of frequency features may be determined, and may be concatenated with a third plurality of GPS features to form a feature vector. An accuracy measure may be determined based on the feature vector, and a mode for the vehicle may be predicted.

  • Publication number: 20230159037
Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media, software, and apparatuses include collecting, via one or more sensors and during a first window of time, sensor data associated with an acceleration of the vehicle, processing the sensor data to obtain frequency domain sensor data, analyzing the frequency domain sensor data to identify one or more occurrences of a vehicle mass change event, classifying a use of the vehicle for a shared mobility service during one or more time periods of the first window of time based on the one or more occurrences of a vehicle mass change, and transmitting, to a remote computing device, a notification relating to use of the vehicle for the shared mobility service.
